How to Use the PDF Merger & Splitter

To merge, choose two or more PDF files in the first panel. They are combined in the order shown in the list, so select them in the order you want them to appear, then press merge to download a single joined document. This is ideal for stitching scanned pages, invoices, certificates or application forms into one file before sending them on.

To split, choose a single PDF in the second panel and the tool reads how many pages it contains. Type the pages you want in the range box using numbers and ranges such as 1-3, 5, 8, then extract them into a brand new PDF. Both operations run entirely inside your browser using a local PDF engine, so confidential contracts and personal documents never leave your computer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit on file size or number of pages?
The only practical limit is your device's memory. Everyday documents of a few hundred pages merge and split without trouble.
Can it open password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted files cannot be read. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then merge or split the unlocked copy.
