Choose the PDF you want to slim down, then set two controls. Page scale decides how many pixels each page is rendered at before it goes back into the document, and image quality sets the JPEG compression level applied to that render. Lower values on either slider produce a dramatically smaller file; higher values keep more fine detail. Scanned documents and image-heavy brochures usually shrink the most.

Press Compress PDF and you will see the original size, the new size and the percentage saved side by side before you commit to downloading. If the result looks too small or too soft, adjust the sliders and compress again — the original file on your device is never modified. Because pages are rasterised, text in the compressed file becomes part of the image, so keep the original if you still need to select or search the text.
