Load an audio file and its waveform is drawn on the canvas so you can see exactly where the speech, music or silence sits. Drag directly on the waveform to move the nearest handle, or use the start and end sliders for fine adjustments down to a hundredth of a second. The highlighted region is what you keep, and the selection length is shown underneath so you can hit an exact duration for a ringtone, a podcast intro or a social clip.
Press Preview selection to hear only the trimmed region before committing. When you are happy, choose an output format and press Trim audio: the tool cuts the samples locally and hands you a ready file. MP3 and WAV export quickly, while OGG and AAC are encoded by the browser in real time, so a long clip takes roughly its own playback duration.
