Click into the editor and start typing, or paste text from anywhere. The toolbar gives you bold, italic, underline and bullet lists so short notes, meeting minutes and letters can be laid out properly without opening a desktop word processor. A live word and character count sits under the editor so you always know how long the piece is.
When you are finished, set a file name and pick a format. The Word option builds a real .docx file, the PDF option lays your text out on A4 pages with automatic page breaks, and the text option saves a plain .txt file. Each button triggers a normal browser download straight away. The document is generated on your own device, so nothing you write is uploaded or stored anywhere.
