You can also change the output format: JPG suits photographs, WebP usually gives the smallest file at the same visual quality, and PNG keeps flat graphics crisp. The panel shows the original size, the compressed size and the percentage saved, which is handy when a website, email attachment or job portal has an upload limit you need to stay under.
